Venturi Wireless Appoints Paul Obsitnik to Vice President of Marketing & Business Development

Wireless Veteran Strengthens Executive Management Team

SUNNYVALE, Calif.—September 11, 2006—Venturi Wireless, a global provider of 3G mobile optimization solutions, today announced the appointment of Paul Obsitnik to Vice President of Marketing & Business Development. Mr. Obsitnik brings more than 15 years of management, marketing and business development expertise to Venturi Wireless.

Mr. Obsitnik joins Venturi Wireless bringing a strong track record of d eveloping and growing new markets in the wireless and telecommunications industry. Most recently, Mr. Obsitnik served as Vice President, Marketing & Business Development at TeleCommunication Systems responsible for development and marketing of the company’s key wireless messaging and location solutions.  Prior to TCS, Mr. Obsitnik held roles in Sales and Marketing with ONI Systems, NorthPoint Communications and 3Com.  Early in his career, Paul served as a submarine officer in the U.S. Navy.
