Responsibilities:

As Server Software Product Manager, you will guide a team that is charged with development of Linux and Solaris-based server software. You will follow a product lifecycle process to build on existing products from existing ideas and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, a big-picture vision, and the drive and attention to detail to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand problems and find innovative solutions for the broader market.

You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with engineering counterparts to define product requirements and will track the development process to ensure projects stay on track. You will work with product marketing to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits and target customers. You will work with carriers and phone manufacturers to define and manage development projects. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for the product offering, occasionally working on sales to key customers.

Required Qualifications:

	3+ years of product management experience, preferred with mobile data carrier products
	Depth of experience in telecommunications and data networks
	Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask and work efficiently
	Strategic view of market and opportunities
	Excellent communication skills, self confidence and strong presence with execs, sales, engineers, customers
	Ability to effectively influence multiple constituencies internally and externally without direct organizational management responsibility
	Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Desired Qualifications:

	Thorough knowledge of the wireless data optimization market
	Product management experience with wireless data carrier infrastructure equipment
	Experience in the design and engineering of wireless data carrier infrastructure equipment

Education Requirements:

Bachelors of Engineering Degree required.
Masters of Business Administration desired.
