Responsibilities:

The Sr. Software Engineer for Server Management will be responsible for the architecture, design and implementation, and testing of the server management software. You will have the additional responsibility of providing technical direction of one or more people working on the project. You will conduct design, and code reviews. The position also requires initiative and contribution to problem solving. You must require moderate supervision , and apply commonly recognized concepts within their field of expertise. You will report to the Director of Engineering.

Required Qualifications:

	Application programming experience in Linux environment
	C coding experience in carrier grade or enterprise or consumer products
	Working experience with debugging tools like gdb, cvs and similar Linux development tools
	Basic working experience in Network Management, SNMP MIBs, Web UI and CLI CLI – backend implementation support SNMP – NET-SNMP, MIB design XML – ASN 1.1, XML/SNMP translation HTTP – working protocol knowledge Architecture, Design, Implementation and Test experience in above items Worked on integration with south (appliance to be managed) and north (Element Management System) bound interfaces

Desired Qualifications:

	Knowledge of Java, Java Script, SOAP, ICAP, XML Scheme
	Familiar with integration with EMS systems (E.g., AdventNet)
	Network Management in Chassis (E.g., IBM Blade Center) based solutions
	Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Education Requirements:

BSCS/EE required, MSCS/EE preferred
